TheThursday Bundle: 111716
TheThursday bundle, just in time for the weekend with artwork inspired by TheWeeknd’s second mixtape, ‘Thursday.’ A mouthful, I know, but luckily an earful, too!

Lizzy Land - Sweet Melodies
Is Lizzy Land trying to get fresh with me? Singing about all these ways she likes me, how she never thought she could feel this way, about not wanting to see me go. Or am I just delusional and making this all about me? Let's go with the former even though it's probably the latter. I can't help it. "Sweet Melodies," a song written to speak vastly to our many feelings of uncertainty, will do that to a guy. Or gal. It's just so relatable that it quickly sticks to the heart and you'll find yourself writing your name (and "DON'T TOUCH") on it like you own it. Similar to a home-cooked lunch in an office refrigerator.

Shy Luv - Joyrider
First off, Shy Luv won the logo game. And the cover art for "Joyrider" is fit to be displayed at the Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze. A scrappy one-two punch only to be followed up by the solid roundhouse kick that is the actual song. Since adding it to our Spotify playlist last week (which you should follow) it's been our go-to song. I've played it so many times that my dog/fellow Joyrider pretty much knows all the words.

The Odds x Bronze Whale - Call Me Out
ADVENTURERS: Singer The Odds and electronic duo Bronze Whale. TREASURE MAP: "Call Me Out," the second original song from these artists' forthcoming collaborative EP, 'Million." GOLD: X marks the spot at 1:26. Trust me, you'll be digging it like a hungry dog after a bone with zero self control. Or like when someone IRL calls you out and you're like "oh hell nah" and you crossover into a lesser version of yourself, attitude soaring, arms flying, eye contact everywhere. That same kind of intensity but all reward.

Felix Cartal - Drifting Away (ft. Ofelia K)
Could there be a more lovable duo? I feel like I could take Felix Cartal and Ofelia K to my parents house for Thanksgiving dinner where my whole family would just adore them. But at the same time, I feel like they have this secret troublemaker side where they would go back later and toilet paper my parents house and leave behind my wallet that they pickpocketed from me earlier. How dare! Listen to "Drifting Away" and all its referenced youth and nostalgia and join me and the FBI as we further investigate these two.

ILUKA - Blue Jean Baby
I want to forever road trip to this song. And I'm talkin literally until I Thelma and Louise off a cliff because what could be better! I've been a fan of ILUKA for years and with every release I get closer to her filing a retraining order against me because I'm obsessed. Her new single "Blue Jean Baby" wears its heart stitched proudly to its sleeve, and catapults at the 1:54 mark. It also announces the singer's impending EP, 'Blue My Soul.' We're told the songs it houses are borderless, and that's just fine with our shared "it's the journey, not the destination" philosophy.
