Golden Coast: Comeback Kid (Video)

The Golden Coast boys give us the ultimate comeback film and guilty pleasure in their new video for "Comeback Kid." This half music video and half lyric video is brilliantly animated by Sooop Design in the style of an old 8 bit Nintendo Entertainment System game and takes us on a journey of a west coast upstart persisting against all odds on his journey to the top.

Those of us who grew up on NES will love all the parody winks throughout, and maybe we’re reading too far into it, but we love the look of the antagonist, and the theme of standing up to nay-sayers, bullies or loud voices trying to bring you down couldn’t be more timely.

These guys have turned out gem after gem & are due to drop their debut EP December 7th. We’ve been told pre-order is set to go up this week, so bust out your digital stockings & grab a copy for anyone in your life who loves a little music to move to!
