Ta-ku & Wafia - Love Somebody (Mr Carmack Remix)

Man, when you love somebody the things you'll do. Luckily it's more about flings here at Kick Kick Snare and keeping commitments low risk and low maintenance. Listen, I'll bring out my A-game (we're talking chocolates, flowers, poems, the works) but my song and dance needs a rhythm to groove to. Speaking of A-game grooves, Aussie collaborators Ta-ku and Wafia share a dance floor remix from Mr. Carmack for their tender ballad and breakout track, "Love Somebody."

Eau Claire - All The Wonder (Loframes Remix)

You had me at Eau Claire. The talented French duo known as Loframes put the lovable producer's "All The Wonder" high on a pedestal to (not an exhaustive list) 1. gavel the music critics to order, 2. set an example for the young remixes out there, 3. give the emotional Tumblr bloggers something darker and more mysterious to listen to while mulling over their lives. In other words, this remix evokes (via the dictionary), a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, Eau Claire.

Billie Eilish - Six Feet Under (Jerry Folk Remix)

After an almost year-long hiatus from lending out his remixing chops, Jerry Folk rolls up his sleeves and digs into "Six Feet Under" by the young singer-songwriter, Billie Eilish, who's taking planet Earth by storm and telling auto-correct to learn about it. Disclaimer: If you're going through tough times and perhaps standing on a ledge, I'd save this one for another day. However, if you're a choreographer and need a sonic backbone to an emotional performance - one to give Sia's company a run for their moves - this could do the trick!

Bachelors of Science - Cartier (Jaybee & Dave Owen Remix)

How does that saying go? "If someone tells you that you have enough jewelry and you don't need anymore, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life." Same goes for Bachelors of Science's "Cartier" and Jaybee & Dave Owen's flawless remix of the original. There's always room in the playlist for tracks of this caliber. The once delicate gem is now a rugged, liquid roller and an example of drum n' bass at its finest.
