Replaying Bobby Nourmand's original version of "D E E P" already warrants a week-long see-you-in-the-gutter bender chock-full of memory loss, loss of money, strange tattoos, and whatever I want. But when you add D.O.C. and Goodmorning to the mix and give the song a hip-hop twist all bets are off. First one to get arrested tonight loses, and I'm not bailing you out again.

Tennyson is teenage brother and sister duo Luke Tennyson and Tess Pretty. After receiving the gift of their latest single, "Your Eyes," featuring Njomza, I want to return the gesture. Hmmm... How about I will buy you guys enough alcohol to cover your next house party? As long as the aftermath isn't comparable to that Project X movie - ie. no cars allowed in the pool - things should be fine. Cheers to OWSLA who recently signed the pair. Great catch.

This song, "Murder In The First Degree" by Jason Gaffner, has the power to save any live DJ set. It's just so damn playful with lyrics that you find yourself singing along to almost instantly. And yes, the funky, disco-inspired synths and fun bassy grooves softens the title, one that has Keith Morrison from Dateline peeking in from around the corner.

"Novocaine" by The Trap Ambassador of Atlanta, Heroes x Villains (HXV), also known as Daniel Pollard, dives deep into the layers of his personality and baring them for all to witness. The song gets real real quick when learning it was written, by longtime friend Naz Tokio, about the drug and alcohol addiction HXV continuously faces in his life but from the perspective of the disease! An intimate portrayal of the insidious and isolating nature of addiction through the use of monstrous 808's and an equally moving melody. RESPECT.
