[PREMIERE] G.Know: High

g-know-high OK, I just finished smoking a foot-long blunt in order to write this properly. If G.Know is gonna be so forthcoming with his music and its messaging, the least I can do is meet him on that psychological state and digitally high-five over our cognitive processes. If you question our condition, then I question your character and wonder who let you in, tbqh.

This fellow San Diego, California native (619!) began producing before he could legally buy a lotto ticket but that's okay because he's rich in emotional bass music. Fast-forward from his early days sampling vinyl and drum breaks on a MPC, "High" skips present day into the future with influential hints of artists like Flume, Medasin, and Rustie. I reckon it's not for the lighthearted, or those who take themselves too seriously, but if you need a pump up jam before a night of debauchery with friends, this one is equal parts trick and treat.

"HIGH is my bass heavy future trap tribute to Nas and AZ as well as a slight nod towards the crutches we use to get through the daily stress." - G.Know
