DENM: GREEN

"Green" is the newest single from indie-pop newcomer DENM.

First off, it's impossible for me to not make a denim reference here. I'll try to make it quick. Things like type of cotton, place of manufacturing, and environmental safeguards are all influential facts that come into play when discussing quality. With that said, same goes for DENM's music, an artist that doesn't cheap out. We're talking ACNE to RRL by Ralph Lauren, not run-of-the-mill deliverables from a questionable factory.

Back to Green. I didn't expect a love song, but happily welcome it. There's not enough of them in the world, especially within the indie pool where I swim. Too much playing it cool, too much singing about things that could never be dedicated or serenaded to an unsuspecting loved one. I guess in this case, I guess it would be ideal if they have green eyes. Alternatively, if you're running late to work send this one out to all those streetlights staring at you ahead.
