Every once in a while, Mercury decides to take a break from retrograding the ef out of my life to enjoy a relaxing retreat orbiting elsewhere. Every once in a while, the stars get hip to this memo and align themselves to sprinkle gifts of joy to the ones below; the ones who have been left to pull themselves back out of Merc the Jerk’s life ruining wake. And every once in a while, when this happens, these gifts come in the form of beautifully nostalgic music realness and everything in your life becomes manageable again. After a shit storm start to my week, Bachelors of Science coupled with Collette Warren and Ben Soundscape skipped right over a rainbow and into my life in all of their majestic drumming and bassing glory, fueling my soul back with their release of "On The Line (Random Movement Remix)." Now I get that drum and bass isn’t for everyone…Actually fuck that. I DO NOT get why or how drum and bass isn’t for everyone because it is the window to everything that is good for the mind body and soul, but I get that this is America and you are all entitled to be thoughtless idiot decision makers should you so please, so I’m sure there’s a Trump rally nearby you can hit up or something.
