[PREMIERE] Bandmaster Feat. Akil the MC: Get Live (Music Video)
Director Adriana Roze is known for her distinct cinematic visuals, rich color palette and atypical camera angles. Add a dash of subtle comedy and an all-star line-up consisting of DJ Rudd, Vina and Andis Ansons - who make up the Latvian electronic band Bandmaster - and you have all the makings of the brand new "Get Live" music video. In tandem with the song's analog synths in overdrive, and a feature from Akil the MC, what makes this so fascinating to watch is the meticulous planning, shedloads of research and art direction for days come to life.
There are a number of factors that contribute to making a recognizable product. It’s not simply one thing or the other, but rather all of these details and more taken in total. Same goes not only for Adriana Roze's direction, but Bandmaster's precise production, too. In that respect, both can actually be captured under the same umbrella of craft. Bandmaster is very much the sum of their total parts, especially when it comes to how they put them all together.
