1. Your accomplishments are inspiring not only to your fans and music lovers alike, but to young aspiring DJs and producers. How do you divide your time to tackle everything on your plate? What’s a typical day in the life of Viceroy look like?
First off, I appreciate your compliment on my impact. The most rewarding aspect of my career is hearing how I can make some sort of difference in people’s lives. There really isn't a typical day for me. There will be days where I’m super motivated to make tracks and days where I hit a wall. It comes in waves, which is totally normal for a musician. Also, I’m in the restaurant world in SF. I’m a partner in a restaurant group, so I also spend time working on that. It gives me a nice break to clear my head from music.

2. Being a seasoned traveler, most recently embarking on your Next Escape Tour, what do you keep in your travel survival bag? What are your absolute necessities to have on hand on and off stage?
Sweat pants and a hoodie are very clutch for my flights. Gotta be comfy! On stage, my V-moda Headphones are super important. I need to have a solid pair of headphones at all times. And ear protection is important too. Can’t forget a plethora of Chubbies clothes at all times!

3. Having been able to travel wide and grace the stage of so many incredible venues, can you share with us any particular pinchable moments along the way when you just had to double check yourself to make sure it wasn’t all a dream? And is there still a venue out there that’s on your bucket list to play?
I think Treasure Island Music Festival was a pretty big one for me. I played for 6000+ people and the vibe was unbelievable. Plus, I had the live setup, it was amazing. Then, there is nothing better than playing in your home town. I’d like to get out to europe more and bring my summertime vibes there.

4. I’m sure there are many, but who was your all-time favorite pop act growing up? Why were they everything to you? Would you say they were your biggest influence to date? If not, who holds that crown and why?
Growing up, I was a massive Green Day fan. I guess that’s not really pop though. Or maybe it is now? I’ve always been a Justin Timberlake fan. The dude is extremely talented. My biggest influences musically are The Grateful Dead, A Tribe Called Quest, Jimmy Buffett, Treasure Fingers, Rancid, Operation Ivy and so much more.

5. Lastly, the obligatory question of What can we expect from you in the coming months/year ahead? Anything exciting on the horizon we should know about and share with the universe?
The Next Escape EP is all done, and ready.. we're working on the release plan for those songs as we speak. I’m always writing more music and I am working on my first cover ever. Can’t say much more than that, but I think you’ll dig the features and the music! It ranges from disco to Reggae.
