[PREMIERE] Amanda Winberg: Shutdown (Ghassemi Remix)

Do not double-cross Amanda Winberg because she will shut you down. This is a case of 'don't judge a book by its cover' because while her model good looks and blonde locks are catwalk-ready, her stilettos have no problem stomping over any preconceived notions that she doesn't have the talent to back it up or that she's your "baby." Lucky for me, I bow down to strong female leads, and for Amanda I'm happy to include a velvety red carpet just for her. I'd say producer Ghassemi agrees, especially with the delivery of his official remix of "Shutdown." While keeping the original song's punch in tact, Ghassemi manages to lighten the mood with a tropical-tinged sonic landscape that may not see Amanda at the end of its conga line but, in the least, will see the singer crack a smile or perhaps letting her hair down and swapping out a stiff drink for one with a tiny umbrella.
