[PREMIERE] Xavier Dunn: Scattered (Chris McClenney Remix)

Move over Richard Bass, Chris McClenney just stole your mountaineering trophy with his remix of "Scattered" by Xavier Dunn. My first thought upon listening was "what is fresher than a breath of fresh air?" The Seven Summits are the highest mountains of each of the seven continents and summiting all of them I assume is what Chris did, and while at the top of each mountain captured air in a mason jar which he combined then opened in his studio while creating this. Heartfelt vocals reach new falsetto heights atop a lush landscape with a pounding urgency that underscores the anxiety of figuring out just what the hell you’re supposed to be doing when you're clearly scattered and feeling beyond repair. Don't mind my emotional breakdown, instead, mind the added dash of soul and groove Chris brings to Xavier's laid back original, and watch how it picks up the pieces and puts them right in place.
