The Gifted Feat. Mackenzie Thoms: Locked Down

Here are my wrists, cuff me. I've surrendered to "Locked Down," the new new from The Gifted featuring one of our favorites, the singer whose grit of anxiety is influenced by yesteryear’s troubadours, enter Mackenzie Thoms. The song is an undeniably powerful and energetic composition but at the same time smokey like a dark back alley with who knows what lurking in the shadows. Within just a few bars though, you think, maybe I'm what's lurking in the shadows which turns out is a welcomed twist. From beginning to end, the music enchants; the lyrics mesmerize and it's all enough to make any casual listener an immediate devotee to both artists.
