[PREMIERE] Coleman Hell: Fireproof

Coleman Hell- Fireproof Wrap me in rock wool blanket, surround me with perlite boards or drizzle me in calcium silicate and coat me up real ****ing good, because Coleman Hell is on the loose with a new single and - ignore the song title - the fire danger today is HIGH. "Fireproof" sounds like it was plucked from my dad's treasured vinyl collection; a song that would have rocked Woodstock '69 and could have held its own headlining this year's Coachella Music Festival, Outdoor Stage, rain or shine.

How does the saying go? "Fireproof doesn’t mean that a fire will never come, but that when it comes, you’ll be able to withstand it." After reading Coleman's personal words about the song, below, you'll further understand why I'm quitting everything to form my own league of extraordinary gentleman with Mr. Hell at the helm. We'll be throwing our jackets over puddles, escorting grandmas across the street, and holding the door for our beloved better halves. "Fireproof" will be our theme song, and you're all welcome to follow suite...this is not a drill.

"I was looking through family photos and I came across this image of my parents that immediately resonated with me. I think that picture perfectly encapsulates the idea behind "fireproof." They've been together since high school and they have such an old fashioned relationship. No matter what obstacles came their way, they worked through it because they have this unwavering belief in love. That almost childlike faith in each other is so beautiful to me. I think growing up around them is what's made me such a hopeless romantic. I got to witness it first hand so I know it exists, and if you love someone enough it really can make you fireproof." - Coleman Hell
