Lily Elise Feat. Famous: Circles

Right out the gate, I found Lily Elise to lock hold of me with her striking glare which I found to be confident, not cliche. Upon pushing 'Go!,' I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, maybe pop? A few bars in, R&B? And "Who's Famous?," I wondered. I assume an artist feature (but I can't image that to be an easily Google-searched name). So many questions = good thing. Me typing in circles = bad thing. OK, then back to the song...

Lily can sing! She also isn't afraid to take risks. I'm pretty sure the tempo isn't your standard 1-2-3-4 and repeat. And lyrically, not only is the singer honest which makes her message relatable but she's clearly comfortable in her own skin which makes her somewhat of a role model in that aspect. Later, we find out who Famous is - a rapper who lends a verse at the 3-minute mark. Definitely serves its purpose, but there's no doubt the spotlight has its eyes set on Lily Elise, and rightfully so. Definitely adding her name to the artists I need to keep watch on.
