Anti Hallmark card of a pop song. Jordan Gable's "Want U Anyway" is my new feelgood and fuck you anthem. I'm looking at this week's to-do-list and the boxes that didn't get checked off and turning up this song. I'm looking at my Sent inbox and noticing I didn't get a few replies...then turning the volume knob one click to the right. I'm looking at my call log and those numbers that went to voice mail...one more click. I tell ya, the louder you play this song the more it's less about the week and more about the weekend. Someone pick me up and let's go to Carbon Beach in Malibu. I need a full on Gidget-inspired dance party around the bonfire and to be carried to the sand on a surf board with this song sound-tracking my entrance. And when I tell you to bring the mashed potato I’m not talking about the vegetable.
