Baauer: Day Ones (Music Video)

I don't know the last time I've been able to yell 'The British are coming' in earnest (bar all revolutionary war re-enactments I've taken part in), but Baauer has totally opened that door for me right now with his latest visual. Featuring air tight production, 2 extremely talented rappers,and a battalion of redcoats, the visual treatement for Day Ones reboots the Revolutionary War in a dingy parking lot and -oddly enough - there are some gorgeous shots that come out of it.

Teased on late night US TV, this Barry Lyndon and The Warriors collision is fully revealed as the new "Day Ones" directed by Hiro Murai. It serves as promo for Baauer's debut LP Aa due out out March 18th via LuckyMe. Don't sleep on it.
