Pr0files: Abuse U (Feel It)

Either my heart is breaking or it's pumping more blood than ever before. Synthpop duo Pr0files (Lauren Pardini and Danny Sternbaum) release a new single and are immediately re-handed their Championship Title Belt for being Los Angeles's purveyors of gritty, sexy, and sad. With less than two weeks to the release of their forthcoming debut LP, 'Jurassic Technologie,' "Abuse U (Feel It)" is just the song needed to warrant quitting everything, and sitting by your calendar with a red Sharpie and crossing off each day until February 23rd. I may or may not have added a digital countdown widget to my MySpace profile, too. Remember those?

​Okay stop! The anticipation is already stressing me like all the way out. Reading the mention of a showcase of oddities while listening currently to "Abuse U (Feel It)," Lauren's harmonic agility and Danny's primal, yet romantic production is simultaneously warming my heart and breaking it into a million pieces. ​Job well done.
