Chelsea Lankes: Bullet
If the Grease franchise should look to create a modern day reboot, can I nominate Chelsea Lankes to play Sandy Olsson? She's has wholesome exchange student and leather-clad badass ready for a summer romance written all over her - one that no doubt has the potential to cross clique lines. However, "Bullet" isn't reliant on a relationship, in fact, this pop anthem delivers a healthy serving of self-validation with its rebelliousness flair accompanied with a hook confident enough to high-five itself and be cool with it.
"The thing I love about this song is that it's sonically unique; it's running in its own lane," Chelsea says. "It was so fun to write and there's nothing about it that's an imitation of what's out in the world right now and I'm really proud of that. The song is just about not taking a breakup so seriously- calling a stupid relationship and dumb boy for what they are and moving on. It's empowering and a different side of me as an artist that I'm excited to share with fans."
