Brandon Skeie: So Bad

It's not very often you get to hear a modern day crooner. In 2016, a year that's so far a blur of sweeping electronics and buzzing pop tunes, it sometimes seems days of the ballads and their kin are numbered. Brandon Skeie doesn't agree with that sentiment, and he proves it with his latest. So Bad starts off simply enough - a haunting piano solo full of unorthodox harmonic change - but quickly transforms into a swelling mid-tempo pop number full of perfectly crafted production tricks courtesy of Dibs and Chris Lyon.
