Junior Prom: Stand!

P-A-R-T-Whyyy?! Because Junior Prom says so! It's no surprise to me that this borough of mine would be pumpin out yet another dance banger via this Brooklyn based duo and their latest release "Stand!". Now before you go requesting a song title to stop yelling at you or telling you what to do, trust when I say that the exclamation mark serves more than just a courteous suggestion. The second that indie dance pop groove tune reaches your ear hole, the only way your body is equipped to react is by not only doing just that, but marching that sweet ass to the nearest dance floor, vice of choice in hand, and shaking what your momma gave ya till you can't shake no more. And as you find yourself sardine canned in that large space likely located in a Bushwick warehouse filled with self absorbed, sweaty awkward humans trying to catch a grind on a dance floor, I hope you find peace in realizing the only thing separating your first junior prom experience at 17, and the one you're being gifted with now is probably a curfew and a corsage. Thanks to the new Junior Prom kids on the block, you can keep on dancing like no one is watching! Wait, stop. Ok so maybe dance like at least a few people are watching. Or even all of the people. Dance like everyone is watching because thanks to at least one of your asshole friends and their Snapchat story, they probably were, thus reducing your urge to spend the rest of the next day hiding under the covers.
