Dieselboy: System Upgrade

System Upgrade was Dieselboy's final mix-CD release for Moonshine back in 2000. If you don't know Moonshine, then you're likely part of EDM's new era, and that's okay. But that probably means you're more familiar with Dubstep (which is less than okay) than you are Drum N Bass (DNB). FACTS: 1) Ask me what my favorite music genre is and that's an easy Drum N Bass; 2) I have over 1,000 DNB vinyl records; 3) I've seen Dieselboy DJ over 20 times dating back almost two decades. Was I that guy in Jnco's with 30-something inch inseams with fur and friendship beads covering the rest of me? Unfortunately, yes. I was basically the grand marshal of the PLUR parade, and although I regret the look, I was part of an underground movement unmatched in today's scene. For today's Throwback Thursday, raising my fan flag to Dieselboy and this incredible 17-song mix.
