pnut africa With vibrations reminiscent of Toto's Africa, P*Nut and Leo Jean Marie bring us their own stellar original by the same name.

While rich rhythms and an R&B backbone define the nuances of this track, P*Nut explores sonic niches that don't often see the light of day on the production side. The end result is beautiful, and it's no wonder. P*Nut has worked with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Faithless, and Foxes before being signed as an artist to Sony BMG, where he released his debut Album ‘Sweet As’ and produced the Faithless hit 'Mass Destruction'.

With articulate illustration poised against the dry South African landscape, this video is both vibey and effortlessly engaging. A gorgeous color palette lights up the visuals while the Leo Jean Marie's voice centers the entire track. It's a briliant swirl of animation, color, and cinematography that we're playing on repeat all week long.

'Africa' was inspire by Malian Music from the 70s. In times of high saturation of music on the internet, we really wanted to reach elsewhere for inspiration. The video was shot in Capetown, South Africa. We were really keen to create a moving portrait, full of colour and vibrancy, to showcase the richness of the continent. - P*Nut
