What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?
This holiday season, Kick Kick Snare has made some next-level collaborative music magic the world's ears have not heard since "We Are The World" or "Do They Know It's Christmas." OK, we're not exactly Band Aid, but our dream to remake a mind-boggling, internet-breaking rendition of the Ella Fitzgerald’s version of the classic "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" has come true.
First, we asked indie-pop duo Golden Coast to create an updated version of the track, and they delivered! Then, with 26 lines, we invited 26 super talented artists to lend their voice to this very special project, and they did. The original plan was to stitch everything together and stream this project on Soundcloud, but not creating a video sounded like a missed opportunity, so now thanks to Pixel Park fans can watch each of these incredible artists sing their part.
Without further ado, we are so very proud to present the ultimate collaboration track for your listening pleasure. Champagne toasts all around!
