Sleigh Bells: Champions of Unrestricted Beauty

My affection for Sleigh Bells was from the get go. Their brand of noise pop is the kind that motivates the underdog to victory. They're all cheerleader pom poms, finish lines and giant loving-cup trophies in the form of vocalist Alexis Krauss and guitarist Derek Edward Miller. "Champions of Unrestricted Beauty" is laced with simple the perfect amount of glitchy, rhythmic noises and pop hooks, but I'm picking up a new trace of emotion that's less harsh, but still tough, most maybe just around the edges. In other words, a little less "f*ck you" and more "I see you."
