Crywolf: Slow Burn
Crywolf believes in ghosts. Respect, but I very recently heard a story on NPR about how many old reports of "hauntings" and "seeing ghosts" had to do with carbon monoxide poisoning. Seeing things, hearing things, feeling sick - yeah that's from the fumes, bro. Now that I've bursted a few bubbles - on to this song "Slow Burn." Whether you're a believer in spirits or not, this song is really good. Crywolf's vocals are really strong and perfectly emotional. Lyrically, he's deep as hell on this one and I completely get the idea of longing for someone and being defined by their absence. It's sad. Nobody likes that feeling, but this song is clearly a great artistic expression of loss.
