You know those janky carnivals that roll through town every summer? For a couple nights you have the opportunity to ride on a terrifying ferris wheel or play rigged games for crusty old stuffed animals with your lover. It's sketchy and ultimately pretty lame, but you go anyways because it's a limited-time only attraction. Well, this song reminds me of being under the bright multi-colored lights of the traveling carnival. Pretend it's after hours and you snuck in and you're running around without a care in the world trying to avoid burly carnival workers. Suddenly everything feels pretty damn romantic.
