Lostboycrow: Powers (Kill Paris remix)

Lostboycrow appeared on the scene last year, and since then has released so many consistant tracks, it’s insane. The amalgamation of electronic perfection and songwriting finesse, Lostboycrow’s latest track, Powers, has possibly become contender for Remix of the Year, thanks to Kill Paris.

The remix really echoes through your memory; the rnb silk vocals mixed up like a musical milkshake with such a vibrant, uplifting drop… reminds me of some Skrillex, if he wasn’t a vampire, but an angel or ballerina. It has some great chopped vocals in the chorus, after the vocal repeats “you got those powers over me, i’m going under, yeah”, and it’s just making me feel powerless right now, clicking play button over and over and over again.
