Golden Coast: High Noon Getaway

The boys are back in town! I've been patiently waiting for my favorite dreamy duo to grant me another Golden Coast original, after being teased with recent remix releases in the time since their life changing "Take You Away" made debut. Today is that day people! Judging from previous experience, I was expecting signature heavy synth pop sounds to rip my heart right out from me at the touch of the play button, and be left to cope with the California pina colada pool party nostalgic fomo palpitations for the rest of the day. Thankfully for me (and my health) the boys have decided to switch it up a bit with latest "High Noon Getaway" release, putting out a sound that seemingly trades in the palm trees for a vibe more suitable for falling leaves. And let me tell you something: I. Am. Into. It! Listen, summer was fun. Pina colada pool parties are great. But fall is for lovers. So as the temp, leaves, and raindrops begin to fall, we all know that the Netflix and chill vibe starts to call. "High Noon Getaway", in all it's sweeping sound glory, is the perfect puff puff pass Netflix and chill follow up release I needed to hear today. The same Golden Coast that caught my eartention with a party, have now officially got me catching feelings after being whisked away to their special place of what I can only imagine involves endless supplies of snuggles and snacks. Is that weird?
