Hello. Friday. Remixes.
This is too easy. If we're talking about things we really love, then Body Language and Machinedrum are a given. Other givens include: arcade bars, group shots and remixes that bring out those involuntary dance moves. When the music's right, we don't care about all the lookie loo's passing judgement on our every limb flailing in the club, at work, in the car, you name it.
Alison Wonderland's remix featuring Hodgy Beats of Hermitude's "The Buzz" is my new entrance music. Grocery shopping? Whole Foods better cue it up because I'm about to not-so-organically head down those aisles with my cart like no one's business. Car dealership? Go ahead and install those hydraulics because we are putting the top down and bouncing our way down the street to the club. The Club? Don't even get me started...you get the drift.
Katy B, I'm on my way to save you! Where are you? Drop a pin and I'll call an Uber. Was it Naderi again leaving you stranded? Listen, he's probably just held up in the studio working on more tracks. I say held up, not because I literally kidnapped him and tied him up Misery-style to a mixing board because I'm holding him hostage, but if I was...my secret is safe with you, right? If he's going to drop fire like this Key N Krates remix, he should expect it tbqh.
Lather up your OFF!® Mosquito Spray because Jerome LOL is taking us into the jungle with his remix of Midnight To Monaco's "Suicide." Nothing pesky here though, just Baloo on the bongo drums, Mowgli on the FX pad and the rest of The Jungle Book characters on the gang vocals tripping out the rest of our senses in vivid Technicolor.
