[PREMIERE] Island Apollo: Pure Love

Things that I consider to be pure love: Music reminiscent of Freddie Mercury during his prime while touring as Queen's frontman, throwing all the baggage of civilization away and making the ultimate escape to live on a remote island, the exploration of celestial structures in outer space and neighboring galaxies far far away. Basically, I'm talking about the new single by SoCal indie-pop band Island Apollo.

Says the band, "Pure Love is about moving past a period of pain by focusing on the people that you care about more than you care about yourself." Their fans, perhaps? I'm guessing their licensing company is blushing while assuming the quote is directed towards them since the song is sonic gold for music supervisors and consumers alike. It's sweet, it's danceable, it's capable of suiting any mood with perfection. Be it an Evian Water commercial or the soundtrack to your squad gearing up for a night out, Island Apollo's music is an easy yes.
