Kimberly Anne: Bury It There (Everything Everything Remix)

First thought upon pushing play: Am I inside a clock? Second thought: I might as well be because Everything Everything is basically telling me what time it is with this remix of Kimberly Anne's "Bury It There." I'm not usually a fan of pitched vocals - it's actually a pet peeve of mine in most cases - but this arrangement is an undeniable work of art. The insistent guitar riffs and staccato percussion remains in tact while shifting the song’s melodic drive into sixth gear with the pedal to the floor.

While the lyrics pour out, “I must be built of different stuff than what your love is made of,” I can only hope that's not true for me with Kimberly Anne, cause my connection to her feels magnetic.
