As someone connected at the wrist to my laptop, "latency" is a word we don't speak of. But leave it to Australian R&B singer-songwriter Vanessa Elisha to have us happily sing it! "Latency" is the first cut from her forthcoming 'Good Ones EP,' and is a family affair featuring CVIRO (Vanessa’s brother) who also has no trouble showing off his tight-knit genes distressed from genre to genre to perfection. Is this hip hop, soul, pop? Are we channeling the 80s, the 90s, the 00s? That's six yeses and I'm predicting at least six more before the song ends.
