Hello. Thursday. Remixes.
This feels like the sound that takes place walking between stages at a festival. If we were at Coachella, we'd be somewhere between Love Thy Brother on the Gobi Stage and Harrison Brome on the Mojave Stage. This "Fill Your Brains" remix is two sounds colliding but in the most epic of ways.
His name is LEFTI, but his remixes are so RIGHT. Listen to the new found rhythms he's infused into SHARER's (JD Samson and Young & Sick) "Body Tonight" that is shaking my body right now. So many feelgood grooves filling my ears, I'll I can say is thank you and move over if you're sitting in my path.
The sun is coming up, and this Solidisco remix is going down down down. I'd say the future would be a much brighter place for everyone if DJ Cassidy and Chromeo were in charge, don't you think?
Halogen lighting may not be the most flattering, but Halogen remixes are proving otherwise. The producing duo deliver an incredible, uplifting revamp to Disco Fries's "Born Ready," featuring Hope Murphy, that I don't think anyone was ready for. It's chock-full of upbeat piano riffs, fuzzy bass lines and sing-along melodies - maybe a little 5K for the snap and a little 200 for the thump? Whatever the EQ, the scene here is set to perfection.
