Tom Misch Feat. Sam Wills: In The Midst Of It All

Some musicians you can just tell they love what they do. The endless hours adjusting levels, experimenting with different sounds, adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation to reel in each and every bar - getting everything just right. Ever since hearing Tom Misch's remix of Lianne La Havas's "What You Don't Do" last week, I knew it was only the beginning for the relationship that is his music and my ears. Today sees the release of Tom's first single from 'Beat Tape 2,' a collaboration with Sam Wills and it has the first sentence of this post written all over it. The full project will be released 8/28 with a new track hitting every Thursday leading up to that date.
