It may only be Thursday, but I'm ready to get the weekend on and Gabe Almeda just found his way onto my partyplaylist for at least the rest of summer. For his most recent remix treatment, he takes on New York crooner, VÉRITÉ, and her single "Wasteland." A dark title to begin with, Gabe Almeda sees a light in her glossy lyrics and uses that for inspiration to build a crescendo-ing progressive build that hits you right where you need it.
