It blew our minds when Oliver Heldens came out as bass house newcomer, HI-LO, and he gave us a double whammy by also announcing his record label, Heldeep Records, in the same day. The first single on his imprint, "Renegade Mastah" under the HI-LO name, is now finally out. This type of song is one of my favorite because it is able to evoke images simply due to the organic sounds in the track. With the recognizable lyrics of Wildchild's "Renegade Master" to pull listeners in, the heaviness of HI-LO's sound and real-life percussion strikes he uses brings forth images in your head of industrial work sites, factories, and warehouse raves in the heart of London.
