Hello. Wednesday. Remixes.

In one corner, we have BECOME.'s remix of XYLØ's "Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea" that I'd say is more Devil than Deep Blue Sea. The :43 mark has me wanting to lure unsuspecting subjects to the dance floor, turn the room upside down and raise the volume until the bass shakes out everyone's wallets and all other valuables. It's not me, it's the Devil's work.

In the other corner, Loud Luxury's remix of XYLØ's "Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea" is more Deep Blue Sea than Devil. They're a deep house duo, so they're more about giving the original a fresh new take with purer intentions in an everyone-is-invited-to-join-this-conga-line kind of way.

NOW THEN, last but least we're switching things up with Lucian's remix of "Here" by Alessia Cara. These lyrics are one thing: Girl has a lot of issues and sounds like she will bite you if you try and step to that. But you almost want to chance it, you know? It's like "Don't hit me!! (that soft)." That twisted mess aside, the production is a whole other thing: I assume the sounds one hears walking into heaven. Coincidentally, this remix falls between the Devil and the deep blue sea on the real.
