A bittersweet ode to new artists with a show to perform but an empty room surrounding them. If you're an artist who can't relate then let me cue up Britney Spears's "Lucky" for you. But "Homie" should act as a nod to those devoted few that show up and support you regardless the circumstances. Those ride or die homies that have a drink and french fries waiting for you to following your set. I may be missing the point completely here, as this is more karaoke themed, but nonetheless, supporting your friend who puts themselves in that spotlight, is a scenario where you are a hero and deserve a cape.
