[PREMIERE] Great Good Fine OK: Something To Believe In (Paperwhite Remix)
Great Good Fine OK is the best band name I've heard in while. Upon further research I see that GGFO is the brain child of a couple of dudes (Jon and Luke) from Brooklyn. Do they wear metallics and loud '80s prints and probably own an Atari or at the very least an OG Nintendo? You bet your sweet ass they do. But, they also make super groovy tunes filled with falsetto that you can definitely get into. The Paperwhite remix of their track "Something To Believe In" gives the song a pair of shiny, new cosmic legs.
"When Paperwhite approached us to do a remix of "Something To Believe In" we were stoked -- being fans of their glossy 80's-inspired productions, we figured it would be a great fit." - Great Good Fine Ok
If the Jem and the Holograms reboot were worth a damn they'd have songs like this on the soundtrack. That or this remix should time travel to 1993 so it can be on the Airborne soundtrack. And don't act like you don't know exactly what movie I'm talking about.
"Both Great Good Fine Ok and St. Lucia are some of our favorite bands so we were thrilled to work on this remix! We wanted to put our dream pop touch on it, while keeping the core song structure really strong. We loved adding a little Paperwhite sparkle to an already awesome song!" - Paperwhite
