Hello. Monday. Remixes.
Truth: Crush Effect's remix of "White Lies" by Odesza is like hearing a pot of coffee brewing in the morning. Jenni Potts's voice is the aroma released by Odesza's roasting process - we're talking an important and complex quality of coffee flavor here!
If we're talking body, we all know Tove Lo is a few steps ahead so just follow her lead. Now if we're talking remix, #vibes4days will put it on you and it won't take long until you're singing "On and on and on..."
Was I reluctant to post SNBRN's remix of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing"? Yes. Was it because I'm not a fan of SNBRN? N-O. Was it because I don't believe in sexual healing? N-O-O. Honestly, there's been a slew of Marvin Gaye remixes and weren't we all disappointed on how his estate handled the Robin Thicke/Pharrell thing? Going back to Tove Lo and quoting her song above, since Marvin Gaye and SNBRN have both loved us right, "we fuck for life."
