Kulkid: CoCo (The EP)

You may cringe every time "CoCo" by OT Genasis comes on either your friends party playlist or the radio, but Kulkid's latest remixes of two different covers of the track will actually make you love "CoCo" for the first time. The surprise factor of this EP is that Kulkid does not use OT's original vocals in either. On the Day Version, Kulkid brings on Ed Sheeran's rendition of the white-inspired single and throws it for a whirl of symphonic strings and pounding percussion perfect for any darty. For the Night Version, Kulkid teams up with Bender to flip a gospel-sounding, elder woman's cover of "Coco," which the duo turn into a retro, late-night groovefest. Two very distinct takes on two different cover of "Coco," but in the end, the Parisian blows us away with his dual creative approach on the same track.
