M.O: Preach (Sean Glass Remix)
The release of his debut remix of Robert DeLong’s “Long Way Home,” which charted #1 on Hype Machine, showcased Sean Glass’ many talents in the music industry. Glass has not only toured worldwide as a DJ, playing festivals from Coachella, to Electric Daisy Carnival, to Life is Beautiful, but the man of many talents also heads his own record label, Win Music. His very first Win Music release, Duke Dumont’s “Need U (100%),” charted #1 on iTunes and received a Grammy nomination, a nearly unheard-of accomplishment for a recently-started indie record label. With his remix of “Long Way Home,” Glass made his debut as a producer, to great success, and now, he’s back with a remix of M.O’s “Preach.”
On the remix, Glass takes M.O’s pop original, and infuses it with his own UK garage touch to make it his stunning two-step garage version. The talented musician speeds up the tempo of the track, letting the girls’ vocals take a backseat and putting a bouncing bassline and piano-driven melody at the forefront of the track.
