morgan karr: beg

For the past year Morgan Karr has been working with his friend/producer Ryan Marrone on an EP that he's getting ready to release this summer. Aside from working on a couple tracks with Tiësto, Morgan went into his studio one day with the idea that we would write something new, playing around with this app called Keezy, which lets you make a trigger pad out of any sound you want. Morgan Karr - "I had been thinking of covering "ain't too proud to beg" because I think the lyric is a much darker story when you strip away the original production. A few chord inversions and some drums and it felt like we stepped into another world. I added mouth trumpet and then realized real players are better than mouth trumpet any day ... And this is the result of that adventure. Beg is a way to preview a new territory of what's to come and a way to say hello. So... Hello!"
