Justin Jay: Mind Games

LA producer and soon-to-be USC graduate, Justin Jay, is back a few weeks after the release of his Momentum EP with a thank you for his fans. A new free track titled, "Mind Game," Justin Jay clearly is already checked out and in full summer mode. The track is very different from what you would expect from the SoCal artist with funk-ridden guitar licks leading the way, but if you dig a little deeper, you can hear Justin Jay's signature bouncing basslines and echoing synth blows.

To the surprise of many, this is track is nothing new for the many who have seen Justin Jay live. He has been sitting on the track for some time but felt that right after his Coachella debut at the Do LaB stage and summer touring in the UK and Australia in the coming months, what better time to release a summer jam then now. Here is what Justin Jay had to give in regards to some background behind "Mind Games."

"I made Mind Games 2 years ago, during the spring of my Sophomore year in college. I wanted to make something that could bring funky, feel-good vibes to the Dirtybird BBQ party during WMC that year. This track ended up becoming a staple in my sets for the whole summer and it's still a favorite among my homies at school. With college coming to an end and Annie Mac on board, it feels like perfect timing to give you guys this tried and tested secret weapon."
