10329808_743674659022251_2609181853301779195_o 'Is it coming from your heart?' is the question Noosa beckons on the opening track, 'Love' of her debut 'Wonderland' LP, produced by Mickey Valen. A question that very clearly isn't being asked inwardly, that answer is already understood. The calm, majestic vocals in the swirling atmosphere's presented showcase an expression of the heart, a genuine, peaceful and pondering of love's many facets. At times sparkling and energetic, and at others it's moments of introspection and pain. The latter seems to be at the center of the single, 'Walk on By', with its accompanying video. Released on the self-titled debut EP in 2012 and re-released on the 2014 album, 'Wonderland', the video (shot by Rachel McDonald of Venice, CA) focuses both on the elegance of Noosa and the sublime setting of Big Sur.

Images of solitude in the outdoors both highlight the thoughtfulness of the lyrics as well as the alienation that thoughtfulness can bring . It's simple but effective and very much the most appropriate imagery to pair with a song about trying to come to terms with the complexities of someone's feelings as well as where you stand as the individual on the other end. 2015 is going to bring an expansion of this wonderful artist, spearheaded by her new single, 'Halo' as well as the subsequent music video and following singles.

Says Noosa, "I'm in the process of writing a new chapter in my life as an artist. The new body of work will represent what I value, involving sound, lyrics, visuals, live performances. I'm going to take my time with this one." If the previous releases including 'Walk on By' are any indication of what's to come, than it will be time well spent. We are delighted to experience this current evolution and though 'Walk on By' presents the statement, 'I've got no reason to love you but I do, I do' ~ we have more than enough reasons to love you, Noosa. And we do. We do, we do.
