Golden Coast: Take You Away

Endorphins goin' UP on a Tuesday! For the love of everything good on this green Earth there is Golden Coast, yet again highlighting the flaw in Newton's theory (see sub clause 1.3A) where not everything that goes up, must come down, especially as we all know, on a Tuesday. In releasing their latest single Take You Away, today marks the first day I actually believe to be Spring. Mother Nature has been a real *&^% -excuse me, "let down" over the last 5 months for us over on the east coast, causing everyone praying for a miracle to the 8 pound 6 ounce new born baby Jesus that we wouldn't in fact have to C her again next Tuesday. Our prayers have been answered! Seems the spiteful witch has decided to finally step down and hand over the reigns to the Golden Coast boys. We have been waiting for this kind of west coast warmth for longer than anyone is able to acknowledge. More importantly, it seems the duo is bringing much more than just warmth along with them to us here in the city. Physicians previously out of work, unable to feed their families here in NY are now being swarmed with Botox appointments to correct these strange deep lines caused by the uncontrollable urge to lift our cheeks and expose our teeth. The cosmetic recession is over! Si se puede! People are smiling. Shit is getting wild. I'm taking the rest of the day off at the request of these two dreamboat hunk-a-burnin' love doll faces to an island where I only sip drinks with umbrellas and pineapple garnishes and worry about nothing but the progression of my tan. God Bless Golden Coast. The faces of a better America!
