COURTS: Part Of (Frandisko Remix)

Got home from Vegas yesterday - 3-day boys trip, sportsbook betting, cabana drinking, fine dining, nightclubbing. So you can only imagine how fun the drive back to LA was, not to mention the traffic extending the trip to 6 excruciating hours. I was death driving. About half way along, I told Tyler sitting shotgun to search "drum and bass" on Soundcloud and to push play. I kid you not, this literally saved our lives. There's just something about the genre that sparks a fire in me. And it's much better to spark a fire in me rather than falling asleep at the wheel flipping the car and sparking my Prius on fire down Interstate 15 South.

Continuing my celebrate of life comes Frandisko's remix of "Part Of" by Essex five-piece COURTS. It's got me reminiscing to the warehouse jungle parties I used to frequent - jncos dragging about, beaded bracelets wrist to elbow, usually standing in a thick crowd swaying like a sea urchin framing a dance circle, cheering, cheering, cheering.
