Denai Moore: Blame (High Contrast Remix)

When pretty much anything Drum N' Bass hits my ears I will likely stop everything I'm doing and give it my undivided attention. It's the only genre that instantly throws me down Alice in Wonderland's rabbit hole and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to properly explain why. That said, there's a very special spot in my heart where High Contrast lives, is celebrated, and where I've tied him up like Kathy Bates does James Caan in 1990's 'Misery' to write me hits all day every day. I wish.

When I saw the title of this song, I wasn't familiar with Denai Moore. But I knew the Because Music signed and Stratford-raised singer must be worth paying attention to. Ahead of the release of her debut album Denai (the luckiest girl of the moment) dropped a stunning remix of her new single "Blame" by his highness High Contrast, who of course takes things to another level entirely. Is it Drum N' Bass? No. Curve-ball. But stunning nonetheless.
