[PREMIERE] Tegan and Sara: I Was a Fool ( That Girl With Dark Eyes Remix)

If you watched the Oscar's a week ago you'll most likely remember the moment when Canadian sisters Tegan and Sara added some much needed energy to the 4 hour saga and invaded the stage to perform "Everything is Awesome!!!" from the Lego Movie with The Lonely Island. Following up their recent performance and creating her own touch of awesomeness is the Barcelona-based producer/songwriter That Girl With Dark Eyes who remixed the pop duo's heartbreaking piano ballad "I was a Fool" turning the track info a funky disco hit.

Still capturing the emotional weight of the original, That Girl With Dark Eyes , creates a dramatic landscape of bouncy analog synths, Kavinksy-like snare hits and modern organs. Shifting gears in the chorus TGWDE quickly brings us to a much funkier place with a laid back Daft-Punk vibe.

That Girl With Dark Eyes also has a collection of her own funky original songs which she's set to release before the summer on her debut EP titled, "T G W D E".
