Brooklyn’s FIN-FOLSOM recently announced the impending release of their third EP, Ruins+Rituals. The album, a five-track set of the band’s special blend of Animal Pop, will be digitally released on February 24th. A celebratory release show will follow at Manhattan’s Cakeshop on February 28th. The band will be donating part of their show proceeds to help keep the struggling NYC staple open another night.

Today, they are sharing their track Horses. It’s the second single to be released from the album, following last week’s premiere of ICMT on Audiofemme. Horses was inspired by vocalist Conor Walsh's time spent as a teacher with the NYC Department of Education, and the lyrics tell a story that merit a close listen. The song canters percussively before breaking into a dynamic refrain, complete with explosive drum fills. Check it out below -- It’s just a taste of what’s to come from this New York-centric EP.
